Judge Goes Soft On Foodie Flasher
April 21, 2006
No hard time for celebrity New York chef and raw food champion Dan Hoyt, previously dubbed "Onan The Vegetarian" in a lengthy New York Magazine profile. That moniker was for some very unseemly public conduct, captured by the intended victim on a camera-enabled cell phone. (Who said these things were a social pox, anyway?) Most bizarre is that he seems to think this reprehensible habit still may be a way to meet the right woman. Spending too much time with his jicama stix, methinks. The poor sap needs some red meat in his diet, in order to summon the bravery to do things the old-fashioned way. Hint, Dan: typically, it starts with, ah, talking to the gal. What’s with raking this guy over the coals. All we know is the one thing this guy did that made him the biggest piece of s*** on earth. I know many people with less than desirable fetishes and they function daily without public scrutiny. I also know people who treat others viciously like s*** all day long, and cause way more damage than our favorite wanker. From all the blogs and all the opportunities for victims to speak up, I can’t see that this guy has ever touched anyone, cornered anyone, forced anyone to do anything. He has never been accused of cat calling, blurting rude comments, sexually harassing anyone or even being a womanizer. As far as I can see except for offering a free show (viewing optional) he is more well behaved than your average Joe. Men are pigs yes but s*** man, leave this poop guy alone or burn us all. Posted by: avarage joe at April 24, 2006 02:36 PMThat's quite a stirring defense of indecent exposure and public masturbation, "Average Joe." "Viewing optional" and "burn us all" indeed.
