A Name In Vain; And Crudely So
February 02, 2005
I'm not big on lawsuits, generally speaking. But I'm with Yogi Berra on this one all the way. Unauthorized, appropriative, opportunistic crassness must be fought. Tooth and nail. Consensual crassness is another matter. But Yogi gave no consent here. Hat tip to my Sound Politics colleague Tim Ford and his new law blog, Litigarchy. Remember, folks: you never, ever want to mess with a guy who once said, "Baseball is 90 percent half-mental."
