The Gore Idea Factory

June 04, 2004

I know Al Gore's glad that - as he told told Wolf Blitzer on CNN - he "took the initiative in creating the Internet." Here's one of Al's favorite sites.

Lots of people want you to believe that Al Gore never claimed he invented the internet. They will give you the actual quote from the Blitzer interview. But, during a debate w/G.W. he most definitely said "I invented the internet." I have it on tape. I asked a friend to tape the debate for me, owing to the fact that I was in Mogadishu delivering wheat to the starving. (I'm not a saint, it was in my job description.)

Ah, Al! Not long ago he used the new apocalyptic thriller "the Day after Tomorrow" to prove his points on Global warming. OOOOPS! Hey Al, did you know that the movie was based on the book "Coming Global Superstorm" by Art Bell and Whitley Striber? Art Bell used to be a big promulgater of UFO activity. (until everybody and their brother bought video cameras, now you rarely hear a peep from the alien worshipper) Art Bell claims the information for his book was given directly to him by aliens! Wooo Hooo! I'd be using anything he said to prove my side of an issue.
What a knee-slapper!

At least "moveon.org", (one of Al's favorite groups) while using the movie to further their political agenda, admits the movie is scientifically impossible. They only hope it will help raise awareness about global warming. There are many that believe global warming isn't as big a deal as the bunny-hugging, Eco-Nazi's claim. Check out CATO.org, and Michael Patrick's article in USA Today. As Michael said, "Lies cloaked as science should never determine how we live our lives."

In the immortal words of the former Presidential hopeful, Howard Dean, "Yeeeaaaaaaargh!"
