Giuliani For Berkeley Mayor
March 24, 2004
Berkeley's homeless youth are "quite visible, begging downtown and up by the campus in shaggy packs, sleeping on the pavement," according to the SF Chron. What to do? Get volunteers to wash their feet, naturally. More here. Posted by Matt Rosenberg at March 24, 2004 09:20 AM Trackback Pings TrackBack URL for this entry: Comments:
I think it's gross, too; more examples of really spoiled people thinking others have to provide for them and cater to them..ugh! Posted by: Lorna at March 24, 2004 03:02 PMRudy might make a great mayor there, but what about G. Gordon Liddy for mayor (or city council) in Seattle. That would be Fun!!!!! Posted by: Jerry at March 24, 2004 05:07 PMJerry, I'd have settled for Mark Sidran! Posted by: Matt Rosenberg at March 24, 2004 06:01 PMRudy would get a cop to shoot one of them, and then blame the shooting on the victim's propensity to aggressively ask for spare change. Rudy would be castrated in the press for gross insensitivity, and then he'd fire his Commissioner of Social Services for not doing more to help the homeless. Then there'd be a major earthquake, and Rudy would help everyone cuz they're homeless, and be written up in Newsweek as America's Mayor.
