I hope the opponents of Gary Locke's effort to place the $.01 increase in sales taxes before the voters have access to this video. Imagine making the case to spend ever more money on schools while showing this video of the nonsense already taking place in our schools. With even more money, just think of the silliness that the tax payers can fund.

Gary, SOMEBODY should FOIA the school district for documents on why such lunacy was deemed appropriate......perhaps it all has to do with some students not being so good at those dreaded "pencil and paper tests." Could eating worms be an alternative to passing the WASL?

I had to read this twice to make sure this was for real ! Then I went to Google and looked up the school, and saw a Report Card for it, comparing this school with l0 others in Wa. with the same enrollment. It outranks the other ten on WASL scores.
